What We Did

The ISPE Training Institute sought to increase attendance and build partnerships with competing organizations and universities. LMD served as ISPE’s strategic partner in developing an integrated global training strategy that incorporated the organization’s multi-faceted training offerings.

It truly has been a pleasure working with you and the LMD team throughout the development of our global education strategy plan. The strategic recommendations, approach, and timing of the implementation plan has allowed the staff and volunteers to move forward to reach our target goals at a rapid pace.

Can’t thank you enough for your direction and leadership.
— Wanda Neal, Former Vice President, Program Development & Training, ISPE

LMD began with a comprehensive, multi-method market research plan to inform the development of ISPE’s global education strategy. The research was divided into two phases: an assessment phase, which included reviewing Google Analytics and enrollment data, trend analysis, competitive analysis, and a training audit; and an audience research phase which included focus groups and one-on-one interviews.

LMD sifted through years of data, conducted dozens of interviews, and thoroughly reviewed industry reports and competitive websites. The result was a full audit of ISPE’s environment and concrete, actionable insights for ISPE’s web, training, and facilities teams.

Using the foundational research gathered, LMD developed a change management plan, with short, medium, and long-term action items and goals. The plan outlined the sixteen strategies ISPE should implement and the corresponding success measures. The strategic recommendations covered training, pricing, partnerships, and marketing strategy.
