As a Marketing Analyst/Salesforce Marketer at a full-service communications firm, you will play a critical role in supporting our marketing strategies and initiatives for high-profile national clients. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze marketing data, generate insights, and provide actionable recommendations to optimize our marketing campaigns. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including advertising, recruiting, and outreach, to drive data-driven decision-making and contribute to our overall campaign and growth strategy.
Mandatory requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a marketing analyst or related position.
- At least one Salesforce certification with at least three (3) years’ experience implementing Salesforce Marketing Cloud product applications.
- Demonstrated proficiency and or certifications with Google Analytics (GA4), data visualization, and other data analysis and reporting tools.
In addition, an ideal candidate possesses and can demonstrate:
- Solid understanding of marketing principles and digital marketing strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in data analysis and reporting tools such as Google Analytics, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Tableau, Hootsuite, etc.
- Proficiency in marketing automation and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo) for data analysis and campaign optimization.
- Experience with SEO duties/functions, including keyword research, link building, algorithm and ranking methodology, and optimization strategies
- Deep knowledge of data warehousing and mining.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
- Strong communication skills to effectively present complex data findings.
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Self-motivated and proactive with a passion for data-driven decision-making.
Duties & Responsibilities
Overall:
- Monitor and report web and marketing metrics.
- Perform valid and reliable market research SWOT analysis.
- Utilize online market research and catalog findings to databases.
- Formulate and present marketing plans to senior management and clients.
- Interpret data, formulate reports and make recommendations.
- Develop After Action reports for marketing campaigns and monthly metrics reports for clients.
- Work alongside Account Managers, Creative Directors, and Media/Outreach Teams to determine optimal placements, target audience, and strategies for marketing campaigns.
- Gather and analyze statistical data using modern and traditional methods.
- Implement a metrics reporting dashboard to consolidate marketing efforts.
- Remain keenly attuned to market trends and best practices.
- Assess and improve current SEO standing for agency and applicable client domains.
- Support Account Services team as needed or assigned.
Data Analysis:
- Conduct thorough integrated analysis of marketing data, including campaign performance, website analytics, customer data, market trends, and leads data..
- Interpret and synthesize complex data sets to identify key insights, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop comprehensive reports and dashboards to track marketing performance.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate marketing metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and identify areas for optimization.
Campaign Optimization:
- Provide actionable recommendations based on data insights to optimize marketing campaigns and maximize ROI.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop A/B tests and experiments, analyze results, and implement data-driven improvements.
- Utilize marketing automation and CRM tools to segment audiences and personalize marketing communications for enhanced effectiveness.
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
- Develop regular reports and presentations to communicate marketing performance, key findings, and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Monitor campaign performance in real-time, identify underperforming areas, and propose adjustments to improve outcomes.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to establish and track marketing objectives and key results.
