Assistant Advertising Agency Account Manager

Job Description: 

Fast-paced, full-service branding, marketing, and communications firm in the Baltimore-Washington corridor seeks an assistant account manager who has advertising agency experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of experience leading communications, outreach, and marketing campaigns for clients at an advertising agency.

  • Assist Account Managers on all matters of client servicing including
    • proposal/quote development
    • conference reports/meeting notes
    • production schedule development and updates
    • budget tracking and reporting
    • presentation development and briefings
    • results tracking and reporting
    • campaign implementation, and
    • research
  • Serve as a backup to Account Managers as needed including answering general client inquiries while keeping Account Manager updated of all client communications.
  • Internal and external project management to ensure timely delivery/receipt of all project parameters materials.
  • Manage select projects.
  • Support marketing department - including editorial, market research, and account service, as needed.
  • Work cross-functionally within the company to communicate client needs.
  • Assistant in providing direction on the development of creative and media assets.
Required Skills: 
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience in advertising agency account management
  • Experience working on outreach and public service campaigns
  • Knowledge of current digital media tools and techniques
  • Project management skills
  • Attention to detail and experience analyzing data
  • Skilled at giving and receiving feedback
  • Accustomed to a client-facing role
  • Polished and professional communication and presentation skills
  • Collaborative and works well in a team environment
  • Willingness and ability to travel to client sites
