LMD Creates New Website for the USNA Alumni Association & Foundation

LAUREL, MD – December 11, 2006 – LMD Creates New Website for the USNA Alumni Association & Foundation.

The United States Naval Academy (USNA) Alumni Association & Foundation has announced the launch of its newly redesigned website, www.usna.com. The Alumni Association & Foundation partnered with LMD to create the site, which features chapter and class information, alumni news, events, and giving opportunities.

"We're proud to have been selected as the Alumni Association & Foundation's strategic partner for this project," said Sarah Pugh, LMD's president. "The Naval Academy is regarded regionally, nationally, and internationally as a premier institution of higher education that has graduated many leaders in government, business, and the military. The site will help USNA alumni around the world maintain their bonds with the school and each other."

LMD developed the new site with the information needs of the end-user first and foremost. After conducting market research among USNA alumni, their families, and Association & Foundation staff, LMD redesigned the site with an emphasis on ease-of-use, intuitive navigation, and visual appeal. The redesigned site features alumni and academy news on the homepage, as well as a member login, which provides registered users with access to exclusive alumni-only information. The site also provides extensive information on the Alumni Association & Foundation's giving opportunities, and allows users to donate online.
