LMD Launches Successful Marketing Campaign for Bowie State University's Offices of Graduate Studies and Enrollment Management

LAUREL, MD – August 13, 2007 – Bowie State University announced that a recent integrated marketing campaign led by LMD resulted in a dramatic increase in graduate and transfer student enrollment. After the summer campaign, the total 2007 fall enrollment increased by approximately 71% for transfer students and 54% for graduate students over the previous 2006-2007 academic year.

"We are proud to have been selected as Bowie State University's marketing agency for this project," said Sarah Pugh, LMD's president. "The results show that our campaign successfully increased enrollment, exceeding even the goals set by Bowie State."

LMD's marketing initiative ran from June 25–August 17, 2007 and included market research, online advertising, radio advertising, direct mail, and public relations. Bowie State University had originally set a goal for the campaign to increase 2007-2008 transfer student enrollment by 25% over the previous academic year (2006-2007), and to increase graduate student enrollment by 13%.
