LMD Wins Two Major Design Awards

LAUREL, MD – May 5, 2006 – LMD recently announced it has received two Summit Creative awards for excellence in graphic design.

"The Summit Creative Awards celebrate the creative accomplishments of marketing communications companies around the world. Submissions are evaluated based on the strength of concept, quality of execution, and ability to persuade."

The agency's "Know-Sow-Grow" self-promotion campaign won a silver Summit in the self-promotion category. The campaign consisted of a series of three packages in a series, each containing an item symbolizing an element required for a business to know its market, sow the seeds of business success, and grow to its full potential. The items were enclosed in custom packaging and included a brochure that continued the "know-sow-grow" theme with powerful messaging.

LMD also received a silver award in the self-promotion stationery/identity category for its redesigned stationery package. The agency's new stationery continues the theme established by the "know-sow-grow" self-promotional effort with earthy color choices and "grow" messaging on the letterhead. Other elements in the package includes innovative design elements, such as envelopes with colored flaps and business cards printed on vellum.
