LMD was tasked with designing and producing 2007 and 2008 annual reports with the following objectives:
- Communicate LPFA’s value and impact to Louisiana citizens.
- Show appreciation to donors for their support.
Solution
- For the 2007 report, LMD developed a theme of gratitude, supported by the report’s design, which used the fleur-de-lis as a heroic image to reinforce LPFA’s connection to Louisiana.
- For the 2008 report, LMD focused on the journey and history of LPFA and their mission to make Louisiana a better place to live. To reflect LPFA’s rich history and accomplishments, the report’s design, type treatments, and paper have a vintage look-and-feel.
- The reports highlight the bonds and loans issued in each respective year, as well as their impact on Louisiana, including CDs with financial information.
- The reports recognize and express gratitude to donors and board members for providing the money to help fund projects.
Outcome
- The 2007 and 2008 reports yielded national recognition from other facilities authorities.
- LPFA secured new clients based on the information and scope of services presented in the reports.
- LPFA gained the attention of the newly elected governor of Louisiana, as their mission lines up with the current economic development agenda.
