Challenge

  • Educate the public on the increasing globalization of the automobile manufacturing industry.

  • Shift the public's perception of the "foreign" automobile industry to one of a global network of manufacturers.

  • Develop a global "green" brand.

  • Communicate the benefits of membership and the association's value to multiple audiences.

Solution

  • Created and implemented an ongoing, integrated marketing and branding campaign using consistent messaging across multiple media channels, including marketing collateral and website.

  • Positioned the website as a redirect to reach government and technical affairs.

Technology

LMD developed this site using an existing database and administrative system that had been implemented previously. LMD migrated the Classic ASP (VB) code to VB.Net and utilized Master Pages to create an easy to maintain template system.

  • ASP.Net/VB.Net
  • SQL Server 2000
  • XHTML 1/CSS 2.0
  • Site-wide templates
  • Ported Classic ASP to .Net
